YMCA membership is an association of people who by simply
accepting the responsibility for their own wellness, unexpectedly transform their
community. Your membership supports all that the YMCA stands for. The YMCA accepts the
responsibility of helping kids, families and adults grow strong. Whether its understanding
the importance of accepting diversity or learning the value of investing in youth, members
enable the YMCA to offer programs that encourage individuals to grow strong in character
through Christian principles. The influence of the YMCA effects members at all stages of
life and results in a multitude of positive outcomes. The YMCA is a place for everyone.
You can help out anywhere, but you belong at the YMCA!
As a YMCA volunteer, your time and talent go a long way. You can lead a program, serve as
a role model for young people, help out in the office or at a special event, raise money
or be part of a committee working on a neighborhood problem. No matter how you help,
you'll make a big difference as you work with others to create a feeling of unity in your
community. To solve problems closest to home, or better yet, to prevent them before they
