FAQ'S

1. CHECK-IN-PROCEDURES: Membership cards are required each time you check in at the reception desk. If you do not bring your membership card with you a daily fee will be required to enter the building. All Y participants must sign in at the front desk.

2. CLASS ENROLLMENT & CANCELLATION: All classes must be paid for at the time of sign-up to ensure your registration. All classes must meet registration and revenue requirements established by the YMCA. Classes may be canceled if there is not sufficient participation.

3. REFUNDS: It is Miami County YMCA policy not to issue refunds for memberships or programs. For general classes 50% credit up through the first class session or until the first game day, toward the use of any YMCA program is allowed.  For on-going programs such as Child Care and Preschool a 100% credit for any prepaid amount toward use of any YMCA program is allowed.

4. PERSONAL PROPERTY: The YMCA is not responsible for personal property. All participants are encouraged to bring a lock to put valuables in a locker while using the facility. If you would like to leave personal property at the Y, permanent lockers are available in the fitness centers.

5. SMOKING: Smoking or the use of other tobacco products is not permitted on the premises. Anyone under the age of 18 may not have tobacco products in his/her possession.

6. ALCOHOL: No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises.

7. PROFANITY: We expect all persons to use acceptable language and behave in a civil manner.

8. SCHEDULE CHANGES: All hours and prices are subject to change. Check program schedules, newspapers and mailings.

9. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Notices concerning classes, open gym times or other scheduled additions or changes will be posted on the bulletin boards and throughout the YMCA. Closings will be announced on WARU.

10. YOUTH USAGE: All children 8 and under need to be enrolled in scheduled program or be accompanied by a parent or sibling 16 years of age or older. Children Junior High & under must be be involved in a specific activity to be in the YMCA unsupervised. We reserve the right to send children home if disciplinary problems arise. Children Junior High & under must leave the YMCA on school nights by 8:00 pm unless accompanied by a parent.
